Stagger Gravel by Salomon is a 16km blast up and down the Gravel section of the Sani pass.

Starting at the SA Border Post runners ascend 8km and almost a vertical kilometer up the escarpment to the edge of Lesotho. Turning at the Lesotho Border Post they then plummet back down to the Finish back at the SA Border Post.

Start Location: South African Border Post, Sani Pass Road.
Start time: 06h30
NOTE: No cutoffs.
SHUTTLES
Runners are shuttled from Premier Resort Sani Pass to the Start at the SA Border Post. Shuttles will depart at 05:30.
Runners are not permitted to self-drive to the Start as this will cause severe congestion on the road and negatively effect the 42km and 21km races.
Runners will then be Shuttled back to Resort at the completion of the run. Shuttles will leave the Finish as each vehicle is filled. The Shuttle cost is included in your entry.
PASSPORT INFORMATIOn
Runners do not require passports as this has been pre-arranged with Border Management and the race does not enter Lesotho.
Any runner wanting to enter Lesotho will need to carry their passport and follow the standard protocols at both border posts.
Any runner attempting to enter Lesotho without a passport will be disqualified and dealt with by the Border Management staff.
LIMITED ENTRIES
Due to the relatively confined nature of access on the Sani Pass entries into Stagger Gravel by Salomon will be limited.
ENVIRONMENT
Sani Stagger takes place in the Maloti Drakensberg World Heritage Site.
We urge all runners to empty cups etc. in the refuse bins provided throughout the route. This is a very serious matter.
Runners found littering will be disqualified from the race.

IMPORTANT:
Entries will be processed via Racepass.
REGISTRATION
Registration will be at the Underberg Country Club from 11am to 8pm on Friday. There will be no late Registration on the Saturday morning of the race. You will need to produce your ID at registration and you may not register on someone else’s behalf. This is for a number of reasons, including medical safety.
Parking at registration will be on the Cricket Field in front of the Clubhouse, please follow the signs and marshalls. The Country Club has a restaurant and bar and the local community will appreciate any support that you can provide.
RACE APPAREL
You will be able to collect all pre-ordered apparel at registration. There will be a limited amount of additional apparel available for sale, both at registration and on race day near the start/finish.
